Do I need to register an account in order to play?
Nope! Registration is completely, 100% optional. Lots of folks solve our puzzles without being logged into an account.

What benefits are there to registering an account?
Registration on many of our sites allows you to track your solving statistics, compete against other players, and participate in our forums and chat rooms. Many players find that a healthy dose of friendly competition increases their enjoyment of the solving experience. Those players with the highest scores, fastest solve times or best completion rates will also be eligible for entry into the Puzzle Baron Hall of Fame, where winners will be listed for all monthly and all-time competitions. And remember: it is always, 100% FREE to register an account on any Puzzle Baron site!

What is a PREMIUM membership?
We offer "Premium" membership upgrades on certain of our sites, for players who wish to solve their puzzles without the distraction of advertisements. Premium members will never see advertising while they are logged in. This will also give them, in many instances, a larger amount of screen real estate in which to solve their puzzles. Costs for premium memberships vary based on the length purchased, but can cost as little as 10 cents per day.

Can I print your puzzles and solve offline?
Absolutely. In fact, we created a site specifically for this purpose: Printable Puzzles.

Who is the "Puzzle Baron"?
That would be Stephen, your friendly neighborhood puzzle provider (and founder of Puzzle Baron). Apart from being completely and utterly addicted to puzzle-crafting, he's also something of a WWI aviation nut, fascinated with the expoits of the early aces like Manfred von Richthofen, also known as "The Red Baron". The name "Puzzle Baron" started off as a joke, but it stuck and, well, here we are.
